He has been serving in the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia since 2004, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the organisation and the field of public sector accounting. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), which underscores his professional credibility and dedication to maintaining high standards in accounting practices.

DEPUTY ACCOUNTANT GENERAL SARAWAK STATE TREASURY DEPARTMENT

Christopher Danan Anak Binjie is the Deputy Accountant General at the Sarawak State Treasury Department. He has been serving in the department since 1994, showcasing a remarkable tenure of dedication and commitment to the field of public sector accounting and financial management. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and currently the committee member for MIA Sarawak Region, underscoring his adherence to professional standards and his dedication to maintaining excellence in the accounting profession. In addition to his professional duties, Christopher serves as an Industry Advisory Panel member for the Faculty of Economics & Business at UNIMAS. His involvement in this role underscores his commitment to shaping the future of the accounting profession and fostering strong links between academic institutions and the industry.
